Book signing events are always my favorite thing to do as an author. It’s an opportunity for me to not only connect with readers, but also to see friends and family, talk books, and introduce my work to a bunch of curious patrons.
Yesterday, I got to spend the afternoon at Barnes & Noble in Easton, PA signing copies of my new novel, “The Seventh Echo.” The turnout was amazing. I completely sold out of books and reconnected with people I haven’t seen in years.
Some people walked away not only with a copy of “The Seventh Echo,” but with free copies of “Beyond What We Know,” and “Doodle.” The latter of which being my very first children’s book from 2013. Everyone got to sign a giant poster of the cover for me to take home too. It was a surreal day.

I’d like to personally thank everyone who attended. I hope you all enjoy the story of Dan Mercer, can see how some of the influences of my hometown of Easton found their way into the fictional town of Fairmont, and feel a connection with the characters.
And now for some more exciting news:
Pass The Echo Giveaway
Here’s something fun you can take part in with me. I’m sending a few special signed copies of The Seventh Echo out into the world—but there’s a catch. Read it, add your name and location inside the book, then pass it along to another reader instead of putting it on your bookshelf.
Snap a photo and share where the book has traveled (around Pennsylvania or across the country) on your social media pages and tag me. One book. Many readers!
Let me know if you’d like to participate. I’ll randomly draw a few names and together we’ll see just how far the echo can go.

And if your group chooses The Seventh Echo, let me know—I may even be able to join your discussion virtually for a Q&A about the book, the characters, and what really happened in Fairmont. Just be warned: spoilers—and echoes—are inevitable.
