October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I’ve decided to add another dimension to a fundraiser for a friend:
My original watercolor paintings.
I’ve been painting for years, usually landscapes, trees, snow-covered fields, and the occasional scene that doesn’t look nearly as good on paper as it did in my head. I also have quite a collection of finished paintings.
Rather than letting them sit around waiting for someone to admire them, I thought they might serve a much better purpose.
So I’ve selected several original watercolors to offer as thank-you gifts to people who help my friend, Gabrielle. And I’ve recently added some new ones to the collection, including colorful landscapes, and quiet spring and winter scenes.
These aren’t prints or reproductions. Each one is an actual paintings I created, signed by me, and each one is unique.

A Painting AND a Signed Book for a $30 Donation
Here’s the deal.
For a donation of $30 or more directly to Gabrielle’s GoFundMe, you’ll receive:
- One original watercolor painting of your choice (from those still available).
- One personally signed copy of my suspense novel, The Seventh Echo.
- Free shipping anywhere in the United States.
I’m providing the artwork, the books, and the shipping too!
Your donation goes directly to Gabrielle’s fundraiser, subject to GoFundMe’s usual processing fees. There’s no middleman, and no payment to me. It’s just a small way of saying thank you for helping someone who needs it.
How to Participate
Take a look at the paintings pictured in this post.
If one catches your eye, send me a private message through my Facebook author page before making your donation:
I’ll confirm whether your chosen painting is still available and reserve it for you. Once confirmed, you can make your donation of $30 or more directly to Gabrielle’s GoFundMe and send me your donation confirmation and mailing address privately.
I’ll take care of the rest.
The paintings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once an original is claimed, it’s gone. Your $30 or more does three things:
- It helps support someone during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
- It gets you a personalized signed copy of “The Seventh Echo.”
- It gets you an original signed watercolor of your choice.

Sometimes the Small Things Matter Most
I know there are countless worthwhile causes competing for everyone’s attention these days. And I also know that not everyone is in a position to donate. That’s perfectly understandable.
So even if you’re not able to donate, if you could take a moment to share Gabrielle’s GoFundMe, or this post, I’d greatly appreciate it.
The Seventh Echo is available now from
